This piece was focused on using brushstrokes in writing. It helps a writer create an image for the reader. I was given two paintings that I had to compare. I had to write about what is similar and what is different between the two paintings. I feel like I did not use the brushstrokes correctly in my writing, but I attempted it as best as I can.

“Hopeless Dawn” the painter Bramley, illustrates that there is a small and dark room with not much in it. The water looks choppy and dark and is visible through a window that looks as if it hangs over the two woman. It seems as if the woman on the floor is sad because she is burying her head in the lap of the other woman. The table looks set with food, plating, and light, but I think it got interrupted by bad news. Second, in “Stormy Sky Over the Bay” the painter Lurssen illustrates a clear view of the ocean and the sky and little bit of sand. The overall picture looks dark and gloomy. The sky is dark and a little peep of light shines over the water. The water looks choppy because there is sea foam and there is someone at sea in their white sail boat. It looks windy because of how the sails are in the boat.
